NLP Training - Summer and Autumn schedule available

As I updated the website earlier today, I realised we'd not updated the blog for a good while - a general indication of how busy we've been the last few months.

We've had some great practitioner and master practitioner courses running, and the April NLP Practice group was a great success. We're still having a lot of interest from people wanting to study 1 to 1 at a time which suits them, so if that would enable you to study - give us a call.

Do visit our website www.nlpliverpool.com to access the latest course calendar and information.

Coming up on 19th June, we'll be running another practice group, and will have a scheduled certified NLP Practitioner course running 9th - 16th July. (https://www.nlpliverpool.com/nlp_practitioner.html)

We've been doing some coaching via Skype to different time zones which has entailed some "silly-O'Clock" sessions - a great way to get a VERY early start on the day - it's great to be able to be so flexible.

So wherever you are in the world - we can talk you through whatever it is you need.

Private NLP and coaching sessions available by arrangement, in person or by phone or Skype, evening weekend and even Silly O'clock sessions available. Call us on 0151 931 5184.

A bright 2014 ahead

My Blogger posts are becoming more infrequent as Facebook takes over my time and attention. It is so much more immediate in terms of feedback, yet I still find myself once a month or so, popping over to blogger and writing a little something.

2014 has started with a huge increase in confidence from our clients, it seems people are happy to look ahead and book ahead. We have training booked into the diary as far as next December and have had a very busy January.

Now we've hit February, we're looking forward to our first NLP Practitioner training of this year, beginning on 5th March.

And later this week on Wednesday 5th February we have our NLP Practice group which is always a great event.

Mind your language – Tuning in to words with NLP

A workshop style session, with tea, coffee and buffet, and lots of learning and laughing for only £15 - if you'd like to join us better book straight away - click here www.nlpliverpool.com

Call us for information about our certified NLP training, for individuals and companies, for personal coaching and therapy.

Telephone our expert NLP Trainer, George Cunningham on 0151 931 5184 to find out how he can help you.

Until next time....keep up to the minute with our Facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/NLPLiverpool remember to like AND follow to get all our updates.

Summer at last

Summer has made it's way up north to NLP Liverpool at last. And as usual we were hoping for some quiet weeks of breathing space to tidy up the office, catch up on reading all the newsletters that fly into our in boxes and generally get prepared for Autumn.

We're also hoping to sneak away for a week or two's Welsh Camping, but it seems that this has triggered an big demand for our services, George has a full day of training and coaching in Birmingham this week, has had a couple of phone clients today and has worked the last few weekends as well.

The new schedule for Autumn has been on the website for a few weeks now, with a couple of NLP Practitioner courses lined up for early October and late Nov/Dec, with flexibility to split the study (and the cost) into 2 parts.

You can access a copy here http://www.nlpliverpool.com/Assets/NLP%20Liverpool%20Calendar%202013.pdf

We've also had a big increase in the number of people wanting to complete an NLP Practitioner course in their own time 1 to 1 (hence the weekend working) which we've been able to accommodate. If this is what you're looking for, give us a call on 0151 931 5184 and we'll fit the study to your schedule.

Our next NLP Practice group is running in Liverpool on Wednesday 18th September, we'll be taking suggestions for the next few weeks, so if you have a good idea of a subject to work on, then email me and let me know, or post it to our Facebook page, and we'll gauge reaction.

Watch the website or Facebook for updates, or better still, put it into your diary now and email me to register your interest and I'll keep you posted and remind you to book nearer the time.

That's all for now folks, I've a mailing to get out, watch for it hitting you mailbox or email me  julie@nlpliverpool.com  to get your copy.

Spring is coming - Bright lights and light nights

The garden is finally bursting into leaf and the daffodils are just about ready to open, they are certainly much later than usual this year, so they're twice as welcome.

Here at NLP Liverpool we've had the usual mix of NLP training clients, private therapy and NLP sessions, with an increase in Skype coaching over the last few months. The February practice group session was a huge success, with a big turn out and lots of laughing and lots of learning. We'll be running a similar event on 24th April, with the subject choice offered to voters on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/NLPLiverpool, so hop over and like us and place your vote. At time of writing it looks like a race from the front by "Introduction to hypnosis" with "NLP for Presentations" lagging a good way behind.

Our next certified NLP Practitioner Training will be running from 7th - 14th June. If you book now and pay by 1st May we'll give you a huge discount on our normal price - the early bird offer fee is £1250 + VAT (£1500 total) - the usual fee is £1740 - so now's the time to book and be certain of your place at this price.

If you are at a crossroads in your life or career or are finding it hard to see your way forward in these difficult economic times, call us on 0151 931 5184 and arrange a coaching session so we can help you see your way forward.

That's all for now folks, I've a mailing to get out, watch for it hitting you mailbox or email me julie@nlpliverpool.com  to get your copy.

A New Year and a new start

I'm not sure where the time has gone since I last posted, and am sure there are a few posts that have vanished into the ether over Summer and Autumn. And so here we are, at the start of a New Year. I hope 2013 has started off well for you and that you continue to work towards being happier and healthier this year.

My own resolutions have had a shaky start, the daily walk has not happened at all. I'm not chained to this desk, but I often feel bound to carry on, that a walk would be an indulgence, rather than a useful time to clear my head and think and plan. The weather has also been cold, drizzly and grey here, so there has been no temptation to go out, I'd get cold and wet, and I'm not very good at either. Better get out soon, I hear a big freeze is on its way, so maybe today, I'll wrap up and venture out.

I've made a good start at the planning for this year and given the website a quick dust off. The 2013 course timetable is available for download, with courses scheduled into July already. There have been a flurry of calls over the last few days, with bookings and enquiries as far ahead as June, which shows how much people look to their future in the New Year.

There's a mailing to head out next week, and we're putting together the programme for the NLP Liverpool Practice Group on Monday 11th February. We're going to be looking at Assertiveness, and how to use NLP to be more assertive. These are really enjoyable evenings, relaxed training in a friendly group. Come along. See our website www.nlpliverpool.com for full details and to make your booking.

Been a busy week of meetings for George this week, with some bespoke training work coming up over the next few weeks. It seems companies are spending their training budgets wisely by consulting with us for delivery of very specific training - which is what we do best. It's great to go into an organisation and find out exactly where the improvements are needed and design and deliver training to fulfil that need. It's very satisfying work. I really enjoy finding new materials to use, so we can evolve the training all the time. It keeps it fresh and interesting and means I am always learning about new fields.

Be your best in 2013

Happy New (Financial) Year

April has sprung with bluebells, glorious sunshine, howling gales and sleet! It's been a busy few months, so apologies for few posts and fewer newsletters, we've been busy training and meeting new people and working on exciting new projects for the coming quarter. As is often the case, they have to remain under wraps for the moment, we'll tell you more next time.

This is going to be a short post as I've a mailing to get out before Easter. We've had some lovely practitioner trainings this quarter and met some fascinating private and coaching clients. The practice group in February was so well received and there were so many people who wanted to come but couldn't, that we are re-running a very similar event on Wednesday 18th April. You can find full details and link to booking through Paypal by clicking here

As always, we've a couple of certified NLP Practitioner courses coming up over the next few months, we're taking bookings for the 18th -25th June course now.

If you'd like some personal 1 to 1 coaching or therapy then call us to arrange a session in person or via telephone or Skype.

Bespoke design and delivery of unique training is our speciality - try us.

As always up to date information about us and our services is available on our website www.nlpliverpool.com or just call us on 0151 931 5184 to tell us what you need and let us help you.

We look forward to hearing from you

Oh look, it's February already

Once again, I'm writing the blog on a Friday evening after an exceptionally busy and varied week. And I'm also wondering where January went.

We've had a really busy time since the last blog post, working very hard on a new venture for us, trialling a course for the automotive industry. The feedback was great so far, and we're hoping to see an upturn in sales and more importantly customer satisfaction, which is what the course was designed to improve - whether a sale went ahead or not. Watch this space for more details.

Earlier this week we undertook some training ourselves - it's unusual to be sat on the delegate side of the room - but we were in great hands. We went to one of Mary Murtagh's "How to run your own PR" workshops, what can I say other than, it was excellent. She has style! Slick, funny, informative and just exactly what we needed - I'm going to schedule in some time, at least once a month to attend to a bit of writing and see what we can achieve.

It reminded me that we really ought to start doing Radio interviews again. A few years ago George went to 7 Waves Radio a couple of times and he was a great interviewee. I shouldn't be surprised though - he just loves what he does, and he loves to talk about it!

We started our February NLP Practitioner course today and have a lovely group. We've had enough interest in the next course in June already, to think seriously about running a March course, to tie in with the end of the financial year - some people always save their training budget until the last minute.

There is also still leadership funding for leads of SMEs which is worth 50% - I can't understand why more people haven't jumped at the chance. For a VAT registered business, you can get your certified NLP Practitioner course, with a full 7 days training for only £725. If you want it, you've only got until 29th February to apply, and until 31st March to complete your course, so do it NOW. Contact me on 0151 931 5184 for a chat, we'll see if you'd be eligible and refer you to the funding agency.

So I've put it onto the website, www.nlpliverpool.com and if we have enough takers, we'll run an intensive 7 day Certified NLP Practitioner course, Saturday 17th - 24th March (with a rest day on Sunday 18th for Mother's day). If you're interested get in touch now.

Just spell checked this and alongside the usual typos, the word "blog" has been highlighted as a possible error - I've been offered "bog", "log" or "blag", none of which will do!

Before I go, remember the Practice Group on 23rd February, and 1 to 1 coaching available in the meantime, in person, by phone or Skype. Call us to book in.

Best Regards

Julie

A great start to the week

I usually end the week with a blog, but think I'll sart the week this way instead today. I always find blogging is a good way to collect my thoughts, and to look forward to what's coming next.

Last week we had some very interesting meetings, got some great advice and had some very productive discussions about some very targeted training in a possible growth area which we're planning to pilot later in the year with a partner and should be able to roll out to a wider audience in 2012. Can't say too much more at this stage, watch this space, it would involve training in an industry I've always had a fascination for, so I'm quite excited.

The practice group last Monday was great fun, with faces new and old, they came from far and wide, one from as far afield as Surrey! We demonstrated circle of excellence and helped everyone try the technique for themselves in small groups and then sent them off with their own hand out and a packet of Polos as a long term reminder. If you can link a technique to an anchor it's got to be more effective. The next NLPPractice group will be on Tuesday November 8th, booking details are on the website at www.nlpliverpool.com

This week it's time for new business cards, accounts and maybe a visit to the Wirral and Cheshire business fair if time allows. This week and next are filling up nicely - always a good sign.

We still have a few places available for the certified NLP Practitioner course from 10th to 17th October. There's a possibility of up to £1000 funding for leaders in SMEs - contact us as soon as possible, or better still, ring me now on 0151 931 5184 to start the application process.

Better go, flask just run out of coffee - and for those who know me well, I NEED my coffee. Going to go and fill up.

Have a great week

Julie

Busy, busy, busy!

I don't know where the last few months have gone, since my last post at the beginning of April we seem to have been very busy. April was an odd month, with more Bank Holiday than is good for us as a small business. I did enjoy the short weeks, but it makes planning events quite difficult, with so many more "out of office" replies in the weeks around Easter and the Royal wedding.

Since then we've had another practice group meeting, on the 25th May, which went very well, and are planning the mailing for the next. We'll be at The Quaker Meeting House again on Thursday 14th July, (from 6:30 - 9pm) where we'll be looking at "anchoring" and it's uses. Everyone is welcome, whatever your skill level, wherever you trained, you'll find us a friendly and welcoming bunch, and there's always a bit of food and some decent coffee on the go.

Anchoring can be described as simply "a hook" which "grabs" you and puts you in a particular state of mind. It can be used for any of the senses, taste & smell, sound, sight and touch.

In the supermarket, the smell of fresh bread or doughnuts fires off a rapid set of nerve impulses linking directly to the brain to make you want to buy and eat immediately. This is an anchor, used to influence your buying. Incidentally, the baking vents are often deliberately routed into the ceiling above the entrance of the store, just to ensure you are driven towards the bakery by your stomach.

Anchors are used all the time in advertising, a certain song, jingle or even a colour can remind you of a product or service, and induce a feelgood and buying impulse.

Looking at pictures of a wonderful holiday or even the feel of bare sand between your toes will immediately relax you - these are all examples of anchors. What we'll do on the next practice group is help you to find great anchors to great feelings and give you the tools to harness them and use them to change your state of mind whenever you need. The ability to feel relaxed and calm in a stressful situation is incredibly useful, whatever you do. You can learn to quell your nervousness when you need to and find a more resourceful state, so you can deal with whatever is being thrown at you (hopefully not plates). It'll be fun, come and join us see www.nlpliverpool.com for more details and to book your place.

We are running an NLP Practitioner course this week, so we are already taking bookings for the next course 10th - 17th October. If you can't wait that long, we are now offering a 1 to 1 flexible training option over 5 or 6 days - call us today on 0151 931 5184 for details - it costs less than you think. You get individual training and we can fit the dates around your existing commitments - ideal for busy executives or owner managers who find it difficult to be away from work for 8 full days. For some high level SME staff or business owners, funding to help with the cost of your course could be available. Call us for details.

And finally, we are still offering a 20% discount on 1 to 1 telephone coaching, for sessions booked before the end of June. You can book as many hours telephone coaching as you need for only £40 per hour - and we'll even call you. If you are at a crossroads in your career or have issues you would rather leave behind, call today to book your appointments - you'll be glad you did. Early morning, evening and weekend appointments available.

That's all for today, mailing to complete and send this week, look out for it in your in box

Keep well

Julie

Practice Group - still a great success

The NLP Liverpool Practice group earlier this week at The Quaker Meeting House in Liverpool was fantastic. With nearly 20 people, we were able to make 4 groups to work on strategies, looking at eliciting good strategies. Then we finished off with a short demonstration silencing "the voice inside your head". Everyone enjoyed it, we kept them all topped up with tea, coffee and butties, and were made most welcome at the venue.

So welcome in fact, that we've booked the next meeting there for Wednesday 25th May, you can book your place now at http://www.nlpliverpool.com/

We're also taking confirmed bookings now for the NLP Master Practitioner 16th - 20th May and 4th -8th May, and for the NLP Practitioner 17th - 24th June.

We're also offering bespoke 1 to 1 Practitioner and Master Practitioner training, more and more, people are looking for training on their terms, at a time that suits them, and we are really happy to be as flexible as possible. Training individuals is great for them and great for us. Call us for details or with your requirements and we'll fit around you.

Time to go, nice to have the light evenings back with us again. I love this blossom and buds time of year.

End of the month .......already?

I've found that blogging is a nice way to finish the week. It helps me get my thoughts in order,(always a good thing) I can review what I've achieved (again, a good thing) and then put together a plan and a list for next week. That doesn't mean that I wont spend at least a few hours over the weekend just keeping on top of emails and generally getting my desk straight for next week!

We've had a number of private clients this week, a couple of meetings and numerous enquiries regarding the Taster next weekend, the presentation skills course at the end of February and the certified NLP Practitioner in March.

We went to our first Chamber of Commerce lunch this week, we've been Chamber members for at least 3 years, but never been free to attend an event. We are determined this year to make more networking events, so as soon as the programme arrived, we made space in the diary. It was very enjoyable, well run and well attended, we met some really good new contacts. It's good to get out and network, particularly when you work in a niche business like ours.

I've been really busy today, I've put the final figures to the VAT return (and submitted it - always a relief) and sent the reminder mailing for next week's NLP Taster event. If you'd like a place see www.nlpliverpool.com/taster.php and make your booking as soon as possible. Only 8 places left at time of writing, so better be quick!

This weekend it's the RSPB's big garden birdwatch, so I''ll be spending an hour or so, just looking at the bird life in the garden. Very therapeutic.

Until next time, enjoy your weekend

Happy 2011 to you all

Middle of January already, I'll admit I've got a bit behind with my blog, so welcome to my first 2011 post.

Christmas seems a distant memory, I didn't realise how much I would miss looking out on green grass, we had spectacular snow here and -17 degree cold to keep it for 10 days. We've got some great photos to remind us, I somehow don't anticipate seeing that much snow here for a while.

I have to admit, I'd been struggling to get onto the blog, and had a couple of recent attempts before having to break off and do something more important. These days we all have a couple of email accounts and the PC was defaulting to the wrong one - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

We've had an interesting start to the year, a number of clients wanting to make personal and work changes, a day of Nordic Walking with Allen Ward at Delamere Forest, and planning for our next major event, which is the NLP Taster day on Saturday 5th February. See www.nlpliverpool.com for details.

In the meantime we've given the website a very cursory dust over - we keep promising a major re-vamp but there's never time, for which I am very grateful. Updating all the prices to take into account the new VAT rate was irksome, so I'm hoping it stays at that level for a while.

This year's aims include spending more time networking, even if that means juggling more tasks into the evenings and putting some more work in the direction of our babysitter.

The next practitioner course will be 18th - 25th March, with courses booked already for June and October, so register your interest now and we'll keep you posted with our news and any special offers.

We continue to offer 1 to 1 coaching by phone or in person, and even offer a skype option to our international clients.

Keep visiting and recommending the blog, we look forward to meeting you at one of our events.

Keep well

Julie

How did it get to be November?

I can't really write much, but when I logged on to see the word August staring back at me I had to write a quick update. We've been very unexpectedly busy for the last few months, the Summer was much busier than we were expecting and I'm only just about getting caught up with the backlog now. For the first time in months my desk looks like a desk, my accounts are up to date and I have only 1033 items in my email "in box" to file and only around a hundred newsletter and articles to read

We had a really lovely group study NLP Practitioner with us in October, and we are looking forward to seeing them again with their certificates. We have also set our schedule for the first half of next year. We'll be running practitioner courses in March and June 2011 with a Master Practitioner in 2 halves, part 1 in May and part 2 in July.

We've had numerous enquiries from people wanting to study individually, so if that would be more up your street, give us a call and we'll put together the right programme for you at a time that suits. It's great working with just one person, and we always have numerous willing volunteers happy to spend a day updating their own skills and acting as "willing victim" for the learner. We can concentrate more on the techniques you are going to use the most and work on examples which will help you in your chosen field.

We do have a couple of slots available for telephone coaching, which can be booked on an ad hoc basis - don't worry, we wont tie you in to a yearly standing order. We always work on a "pay as you go" basis, so you stay in control. It's doesn't feel right to us to work any other way. It seems wrong for your coach to have a vested interest in keeping you coming week after week!

That's about all I've got time for.

Do leave a comment or "like" our posts. We'd love to hear from you.

Julie

How did it get to be June already?

Where did nearly half the year go? I must have lost at least a month somewhere. I've probably spent some of it staring into the back of my computer improving my frown lines and tearing my hair out.

Ssssshhhhh, all seems to be well at present on the hardware and software front, with a large mailing to go out tomorrow, I'm really hoping that will remain the case, otherwise tomorrow could be a VERY late night.

May has been a busy month for us, we've just finished another Master Practitioner course, it's such a pleasure to have students come back to build on their practitioner training, by now they are old friends, and we are able to build exactly the training they want as we know them so well. Whether they are therapists, business managers, solicitors or trainers themselves, we tailor the training so they are able to use the techniques where they need them.

We're now gearing up for the Summer Practitioner course at the end of June, with only a few places remaining and future funding options likely to be limited, (bye bye SkillWorks -we'll miss you!) we are urging people to study now, while the last scrapings of EU funding are available.

We've booked our next NLP taster for the evening of 9th September, and will take provisional bookings now, as they've proved very popular in the past.

We're very excited to read your stories for our June Newsletter competition, and looking forward to awarding the £100 prize before we publish it to our website. If you'd like a chance to win, just go to the website www.nlpliverpool.com and sign up for the newsletter by the end of June, which has all the details, send us your tale of woe, and keep your fingers crossed.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Julie Cunningham

A poor neglected blog

My poor blog has been so neglected lately that I've broken with convention and am writing at the start of the week rather than the end. The last few weeks have been so busy that by Friday afternoon, it's just been one job too much to post a final missive.

We finally managed to coerce the pdf maker back into action, which makes sending qoutes and documents much easier. Since then, the accounting software fell over and grazed its knees and wouldn't get up again. Put in a number of very late nights trying to reload, reinstall and restore, and are finally (fingers crossed) able to start entering data again. We even got into the "computer geek, back office, techy stuff", the bit with all the warnings, and I used RegEdit for the first time. Seems funny to have a computer application called Reg!

Over the last month or so we've completed some practitioner training, put a number of delegates through their paces at Master Practitioner level and discussed some exciting proposals for a number of large organisations, for staff training in communication skills and team building.

The team building exercises should be fantastic fun, we've got some really interesting ideas, and we're always grateful to hear from anyone who has any more. I've noticed most team building exercises seem to involve the great outdoors, of which I'm a huge fan, but splinters, getting wet and the possibility of broken ankles wouldn't really be suitable for our clients. Clay pigeon shooting and go-carting tend to appeal to the male and macho. A day of raft building, trust falling, plank walking and trapeze jumping are great for teens and twenty year olds, but our demographic is slightly above that - myself included. So we're looking for some more cerebral (and sedate) challenges, with emphasis on communication, co-operation, and listening, rather than strength and brute force. Shame really, I'd love a day rally driving.

George is doing some bespoke 1 to 1 Master Practitioner training this week, it's a huge advantage to be able to really target the techniques to the areas the client is going to use. We seem to be doing more and more of this type of work. Maybe the current economic situation drives more organisations and individuals to seek out a more precise tailored solution rather than splash out on a one size fits all product.

Bespoke tailoring always fits better and lasts longer.

Better go, manuals to print and bind, certificates to send and the accounts to tackle.

Thanks for reading (email me julie@nlpliverpool.com and let me know what you think)

A green end to the week!

Another busy week. Now trying to juggle the end of the week tasks, those emails that really shouldn't wait over the weekend and the keeping up to date with the filing. And this blog of course.

Finished training one of our own NLP practitioner courses last Friday, an 8 day, full - on, training experience for George and our delegates. I know a lot of laughing went on, as the reception staff at The Racquet Club kept asking "What are you doing in there?" as there was such a lot of giggling and guffawing going on. The best laugh of the week was when the group invented a new NLP technique, based on The Milton Model, only using such cheesy expressions it had to be re-named The Stilton Model. We hope this will become a mature addition to the cheeseboard of NLP, with grateful thanks to Ryan.

We've had a number of enquiries this week about our Presentation Skills courses, which reminded me to update the website. We'll be running for a maximum of 10 delegates on 11th and 12th May. I have 2 places reserved already, so contact me soon to ensure your place.

Been struggling with our software again this week. We upgraded our Adobe suite, an absolutely essential tool for our documents, photography and web site development. I'm not even going to relate the sorry tale of spectacularly bad customer service from Adobe with regard to the purchase which swallowed up 2 days with telephone calls and emails.

The new version makes updating the website much easier and will help with the photography we do (when I can get time to concentrate on learning all the new features), but the pdf maker has disappeared from Word.

Gone.

POOF.

Just like that!

There seems to be no coaxing it back and no amount of cajoling or sweet-talking is having any effect. We've run "repair made", reinstalled, restarted and all to no avail. The up side is, that while George has sat and deepened his frown lines all afternoon (we know it's serious when I vacate my seat and allow him "at" my machine) I've got to grips with a huge pile of filing and filled a bag with paper recycling. So I'm feeling quite green and calm.

All in all, a good week, I always enjoy sending the licence agreements off to The US, having trained another bunch of people in the subtle art of NLP.

Better go, need to pack a child off to cub camp!

More news next week,

Julie

Spinning Plates at NLP Liverpool

Had a very interesting week so far, local training, preparing for our own course and even an international enquiry.

Monday saw George off to train around 20 restaurant staff in communication & hospitality skills, for a brand new restaurant opening soon in Liverpool - more news to follow next week.

Yesterday we had a call out of the blue from Sweden for advice and telephone coaching - fantastic to know our reputation has spread that far, what a compliment!

I'm busy preparing paperwork and binding manuals for the certified NLP practitioner course which starts on Friday, got a lovely group of people that I'm really looking forward to working with, one who's coming (on recommendation) all the way from Holland.

There's one of our regular phone coaching clients this afternoon (from the south coast) and despite promising ourselves a clear day tomorrow prior to the 8 days of training from Friday, we seem to a full diary tomorrow too.

Can't complain, I'm too busy, I haven't got time!

Yours in multitasking,

Julie

A conflict of interest

Currently struggling with a conflict of interest. As well as trying to keep on top of running everything in the office, it's also Half Term, which presents some interesting challenges. In the battle between work and half term, today the work is winning, which results is 3 tetchy children, and a slightly guilty Mum. Any engaging activity seems to require my personal supervision, and undivided attention, which is completely incompatible with getting anything done. I'm trying to encourage quiet colouring and lego building rather than TV watching, and really I'd love to down tools and get sticky and glittery and bake cakes, but I've got too much overdue already.

I've got a mailing due out later, and then I'm hoping to just respond to calls and emails for the next few days and maybe even get some time out of the office and into the fresh air.

It's all systems go for the next certified NLP Practitioner course 5th -12th March, nice group so far, I'm looking forward to working with them. We could always add in a few more, so if you're tempted, call me today on 0151 931 5184 to discuss funding options or flexible study arrangements.

We're also looking to put together some dates for another Taster event, sometime after Easter. If you'd like to register your interest, visit the website, www.nlpliverpool.com and email me your preferred evening or weekend day and date. We'll then have an idea which days suit people best.

Do email me or comment on the post, it'd be nice to know it's being read.

Better go, work to do,

Julie

NLP Taster Event on Monday

It seems I'm always in the office late on a Friday, the week catches up with me and I have things to finish before I can call it the weekend.

Had a couple of private clients this week, mainly I've been preparing for next week's NLP Taster on Monday, see the website for details, www.nlpliverpool.com

Made the mistake of installing some updates to our security software on Wednesday, then tried to reduce the start up time of my PC by tinkering with programmes in the start-up menu. It takes around half an hour from switching on to "ready for action", which is not very green, and a real disincentive to turning off at lunchtime or if I'm out to see a client. BIG, BIG MISTAKE. From inside the PC, some kind of windows lock down occurred, with no access to any files, no email, no documents, nothing. Just what you don't need when you are organising an event, all of which has been done on the PC or through email.

Finally managed to dig a tunnel through the PC's back garden, break in through the coal cellar door, and sneak some files out and put them on the laptop, over which I've been crouched for most of the day. George is trying to restore the missing files and we are hoping to be able to get me back online on my own PC by tomorrow. It's going to be another VERY late night.

It's given me time to do some long overdue filing! You have just got to look on the bright side

Have a great weekend

Julie
