July 2015 - Sunshine at last - half the year gone already.

We've had a busy couple of weeks, with a sudden rush of people looking to secure funding from their company to train with us. Business confidence seems to be rising all the time. More and more companies are looking to hold on to their best staff by offering more training and personal development to retain the best. August is looking quite busy, so if you are looking for training or coaching soon, ring us and book in quickly to be sure of securing the best dates for you.

We are still hoping to squeeze in an "NLP for ALL" evening before August. Watch this space or see our page on Facebook to like and keep up with all our latest news.

We are already putting dates into the calendar for 2016. So if you want to plan your personal development goals and include a certified NLP Practitioner or Master Practitioner training course with us, we have plenty of dates for you to choose from.

And if they don't fit with your busy schedule, just call us and we'll find space in the diary for course dates to suit you.

You can find us on Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/NLPLiverpool
and I do tweet @JulieCLiverpool (but only occasionally).

If we can help at all with communication or NLP training, presentation skills, coaching, personal development or therapy, just call us on 0151 931 5184

We look forward to working with you

NLP Liverpool - Certified training - Autumn programme 2014

So here we are, Autumn has arrived, with what feels like more calm and sunny days than the last half of the summer. Time for blackberries, conkers and wasps!

It's also time for most of us to get back to work after a short break and find that the stresses and strains we forgot during those days on the beach, evaporate almost as soon as we sit behind our desks again. So to help with combating stress, we're running an NLP Practice group in September on this very topic. See the website www.nlpliverpool.com for full details and booking link

"Stress relief at the push of a button".

NLP Practice group 24th September 2014

We all feel so much better after a holiday, it seems as soon as we go back to work, the normal patterns of behaviour seem to automatically return. Sadly, the benefit of a well-earned weeks rest seems lost. Wouldn’t it be great to re-capture that fully relaxed holiday feeling and summon it instantly when you need it most?

We're going to look at a powerful NLP technique called anchoring and teach you a few ways to use it in stressful situations. You will learn how to find inner calm in the midst of chaos.

These are relaxed and friendly evening workshops, everyone is welcome. We start with some light refreshments at 6:30 and begin the programme at 7. We aim to be finished by around 9:15, be warned, the last people usually leave as we close the room at nearer 10.

As always we have a packed programme of certified NLP training and private coaching this Autumn, with course dates scheduled into 2015.

NLP Practitioner course - 7 days

NLP Master Practitioner course - 10 days

(both are certified by Richard Bandler and the Society of NLP)

Presentation skills masterclass - 2 days

1 to 1 coaching by arrangement. Face to face 2 hour, half day, full day or hourly Skype & telephone sessions available

Individual NLP session for personal development or therapy - by arrangement.

As always our website has the most up to date information, head over there to see what else we have to offer. Or call us on 0151 931 5184 for more details or to discuss your requirements.

Tuesday, 10 January 2012

It's been an exceptionally busy start to the year, it seems everyone has decided that this is the year they are going to make a change. And when they want to make the change, they need to do it now! I spent the first few days of the year making sure the website was updated and current, with our course calendar for the rest of 2012.

We're making it our mission to help as many people as possible become confident presenters, and have a 2 day course running every month until at least the middle of the year. We're only taking 10 on each course, to ensure everyone gets enough time on their feet to make a massive difference to their delivery techniques. So choose your dates and book your course as soon as possible, see the website for details.

The NLP Liverpool practice group on 18th January is booking up fast, and as we'll be working on "Dealing with difficult people" we're expecting a bumper turn out. From a vicious boss to those nasty relatives, or that annoying salesperson or insubordinate or sulky staff member, we'll teach you techniques to deal with them, and leave you with the tactics to help in the future. We're also hoping to pick up some spectacular stories from you, so if you've a tale to tell, bring it along and we'll help you with difficult people and situations. Click here for more details and booking via PayPal.

As always, there is an 8 day NLP Practitioner course in the offing, with the next dates scheduled for 3rd - 10th February and 18th - 25th June. Book now and we can hold your place and even arrange for you to pay in installments if you'd find that easier.

Until next time

Planning for 2010

As our autumn programme of training courses draws to a close and we begin to overhaul the website, it's time for us to look forward to next year. It always amazes me that as soon as the Summer is over, I'm putting together course dates for the following 18 months. We've had enquiries from as far away as Holland for our courses for next year.

A course calendar for 2010 is available for download from our website already, or click for your own copy http://www.nlpliverpool.com/Assets/NLP%20Liverpool%20Calendar%202010.pdf

We've had a busy few days in the office catching up with some of the stuff that gets put off for weeks at a time. There's always filing and accounts to keep on top of, as well as sorting the multitude of emails, some of which contain very useful information, some of which are dross! It's the sorting through which takes the time.

I've been wrestling with recalcitrant email, stubbornly refusing to download from the server and George has spent many an hour with gritted teeth atttempting to get the computer and the print server to recognise one another. You have to see the funny side, even though the print server is plugged in and shows up as connected there is a resolute refusal of the PC to "recognise" it. It's been installed, uninstalled, unplugged, coaxed, stroked and there's such great excitement when the lights flash on and off, but does it print? Er ....no, not yet. I'll keep you posted.

World Mental Health Day - This Saturday 10th October

It's World Mental Health Day this Saturday, 10th October, are you calm and serene or are you permanently stressed?

Most of us do our best to look after ourselves, we pay a subscription to the gym (and sometimes even go), make sure we get the requisite 5 fruit and veg a day (and no, the lemon in a G & T does not count) and speaking of alcohol, we all try and kid ourselves that we keep within sensible limits. Maybe we even put on the occasional slap of moisturizer to keep the lines away. Some people obsess about every calorie they put to their lips and spend hours in the supermarket comparing nutritional tables between pots of low fat yoghurt.

How often do you think about your mental health? Most of us are so busy and so stressed just getting through each day, that often we neglect to make time to wind down. The BBC Headroom website is an excellent resource for mental well being with great information on huge a variety of ailments, therapies and brilliant no-nonsense advice.

Check it out, http://www.bbc.co.uk/headroom/ and do sign up for their newsletter.

Your mental well being is up to you - make time to relax when you're stressed, follow the advice on the website and make time to smile. A lot.

2010 is coming! We've got our first NLP Taster event booked for 1st February, check out the details on our website and register your interest now.

Back to the grindstone

Well, it's back to the grindstone, the holidays are so far behind us that even the washing has been done and put away. The last vestiges of sand have fallen out of most pairs of shoes and the children are back at school.

We spent almost 2 weeks under canvas in breezy North Wales, braving the tail end of Hurricane Bill and a couple of days of torrential rain. We had a wonderful time and even now have an unnatural appreciation for the things we missed - taps, a proper shower, a sofa, a fridge, a decent night's sleep.

Now it's back to work with our Autumn programme of courses and NLP Taster events leading up to Christmas.

Next Event - NLP Taster Day, Sunday 27th September, Liverpool. See our website for full details www.nlpliverpool.com

Still a few places for the Autumn Certified NLP Practitioner course 12th - 19th October. Funding may be available, so contact me for details and to reserve your place.

NLP Liverpool begins to blog.

Welcome to our first blog post. Please be patient with me as I get to grips with the technology, the terminology and the fact that I might just be a bit old to do this properly.

We've just come to the end of a marathon 3 weeks of training. One NLP practitioner course, followed almost immediately by an NLP Master Practitioner course, which some delegates were desperate to complete before the school holidays. Probably wont put ourselves through such an intensive schedule again any time soon. I can't describe the state of my desk, although I know it IS under there somewhere, and I've reached a state of manic giddiness (which is most unattractive in a woman of my age may I say) due to over tiredness and too many evenings in the office trying to keep up.

Such are the joys of running your own business, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
