July 2015 - Sunshine at last - half the year gone already.

We've had a busy couple of weeks, with a sudden rush of people looking to secure funding from their company to train with us. Business confidence seems to be rising all the time. More and more companies are looking to hold on to their best staff by offering more training and personal development to retain the best. August is looking quite busy, so if you are looking for training or coaching soon, ring us and book in quickly to be sure of securing the best dates for you.

We are still hoping to squeeze in an "NLP for ALL" evening before August. Watch this space or see our page on Facebook to like and keep up with all our latest news.

We are already putting dates into the calendar for 2016. So if you want to plan your personal development goals and include a certified NLP Practitioner or Master Practitioner training course with us, we have plenty of dates for you to choose from.

And if they don't fit with your busy schedule, just call us and we'll find space in the diary for course dates to suit you.

You can find us on Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/NLPLiverpool
and I do tweet @JulieCLiverpool (but only occasionally).

If we can help at all with communication or NLP training, presentation skills, coaching, personal development or therapy, just call us on 0151 931 5184

We look forward to working with you

Welcome to 2015 - It's going to be a great year

First of all, Happy New Year - with all our best wishes to you and yours for a happy, healthy and successful 2015.

We've already had an unexpectedly busy start to the year, it seems that many people are beginning to feel confident of the economic recovery and are taking more initiative to plan for and invest in personal and staff development.

There have also been numerous inquiries about smoking cessation - which isn't surprising as the cost of smoking is many times more than £3,000 a year in cigarettes alone (for a 20 a day smoker). New Year is a great time for a new start towards healthier living. If you're struggling with motivation - just give us a call on 0151 931 5184 and book a coaching session.

And if you've reached a crossroads in life or career and aren't sure what do do next - book in for some life coaching and we'll help you find what you're looking for and make plans to achieve those goals.

We've given the website a little post-festive dust off and updated most of the pages and published our course calendar for the first half on 2015. We have a few new 1-day courses coming up in February - we'll be delivering some NLP training specifically tailored for HR and Management professionals and for Project managers. See our website or contact us for more details.

We also have our usual regular practice group date booked for 28th January, we'll be putting together the content over the next week or so, if you've any suggestions for what you'd like us to cover - do feel free to get in touch.

As always we have regular certified NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner courses running, see the website for dates and details.

We look forward to hearing from you soon,

Julie

An Autumn Tale

I was quite surprised to realise how long it had been since my last post. We've gone from weekly, to monthly to barely once a season with the blog lately. So, as we're well into Autumn, here's a quick update.

Facebook allows a much more immediate and much more interactive platform with everyone, so unfortunately, the poor blog has been rather neglected. I will continue give it the occasional update, but if you're looking for up to the minute information, it has to be the website www.nlpliverpool.com or our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/NLPLiverpool

Last week we ran our NLP Liverpool Practice group - Better choices & decisions with "propulsion systems"

A rocket theme seemed appropriate as it was the day after Bonfire night, and many of us (myself included) need a "rocket" to get on and make a decision sometimes. It was a great evening, with lots of goal setting and some people realising that they must propel themselves to act soon - before it's too late!

The next event will be on Wednesday 11th December, the title will be Handling Difficult Relatives
(Strategies for a Calm Christmas)
You can head over to the website already to book your place. Of course all the techniques will be applicable in business situations too.

George has recently spent a weekend catching up with one of our very early trainees in NLP, Paul Cosens, who has now trained as an NLP Trainer and has a thriving NLP practice in Canary Wharf. He ran a weekend training course for Canary Wharf NLP Community, with George training conversational strategies and nested loops to a great crowd of NLPers.

The last few months have seen us tailoring and delivering training for solicitor's practices, restaurant staff, a recruitment agency, and teachers, with some university lecturing coming up next week too.

The next public course in the calendar is our NLP Practitioner course starting 27th November, there is still space if you'd like to book. Do check our website for details of this and all our other courses.

Remember, we frequently train people 1:1 and offer individual coaching sessions by phone and Skype as well as in person.

Do like us on Facebook and make sure you keep up with our regular events by emailing me Julie@nlpliverpool.com and asking for our newsletter.

Until the winds change, and Winter blows in,

Julie

Oh look, it's February already

Once again, I'm writing the blog on a Friday evening after an exceptionally busy and varied week. And I'm also wondering where January went.

We've had a really busy time since the last blog post, working very hard on a new venture for us, trialling a course for the automotive industry. The feedback was great so far, and we're hoping to see an upturn in sales and more importantly customer satisfaction, which is what the course was designed to improve - whether a sale went ahead or not. Watch this space for more details.

Earlier this week we undertook some training ourselves - it's unusual to be sat on the delegate side of the room - but we were in great hands. We went to one of Mary Murtagh's "How to run your own PR" workshops, what can I say other than, it was excellent. She has style! Slick, funny, informative and just exactly what we needed - I'm going to schedule in some time, at least once a month to attend to a bit of writing and see what we can achieve.

It reminded me that we really ought to start doing Radio interviews again. A few years ago George went to 7 Waves Radio a couple of times and he was a great interviewee. I shouldn't be surprised though - he just loves what he does, and he loves to talk about it!

We started our February NLP Practitioner course today and have a lovely group. We've had enough interest in the next course in June already, to think seriously about running a March course, to tie in with the end of the financial year - some people always save their training budget until the last minute.

There is also still leadership funding for leads of SMEs which is worth 50% - I can't understand why more people haven't jumped at the chance. For a VAT registered business, you can get your certified NLP Practitioner course, with a full 7 days training for only £725. If you want it, you've only got until 29th February to apply, and until 31st March to complete your course, so do it NOW. Contact me on 0151 931 5184 for a chat, we'll see if you'd be eligible and refer you to the funding agency.

So I've put it onto the website, www.nlpliverpool.com and if we have enough takers, we'll run an intensive 7 day Certified NLP Practitioner course, Saturday 17th - 24th March (with a rest day on Sunday 18th for Mother's day). If you're interested get in touch now.

Just spell checked this and alongside the usual typos, the word "blog" has been highlighted as a possible error - I've been offered "bog", "log" or "blag", none of which will do!

Before I go, remember the Practice Group on 23rd February, and 1 to 1 coaching available in the meantime, in person, by phone or Skype. Call us to book in.

Best Regards

Julie
