How did it get to be Friday already?

I was just wondering, does anyone else get to Friday afternoon and wonder where their week has gone. Mine has shot by so fast, I can't work out if I've lost a day somewhere.

I've discovered that all I have to do is go to my "sent" items, then I see where my week has gone. This week we've sent another mailing, had a number of private clients, done the VAT return and prepared for our NLP Skills Builder and Taster day on Sunday.

It's a great opportunity to come and meet us and see what NLP is and what it can do for you. We always have a diverse and interesting bunch of people, who by the end of the day have bonded so well they take the mickey out of each other (and us) and are exchanging email addresses and arranging to keep in touch.

The Racquet Club always make us welcome and look after us really well. They're hosting a "Designer Clothes Throw" on Monday, do check out the link, Essentially you can bag yourself a designer bargain and support Alder Hey at the same time. Please pass the word around any way you can, Alder Hey is a place where miracles happen..

Time to go, still the manuals to bind for Sunday, the delegate packs to prepare and the PA system to get ready. Oh the glamour of it all.

Back to the grindstone

Well, it's back to the grindstone, the holidays are so far behind us that even the washing has been done and put away. The last vestiges of sand have fallen out of most pairs of shoes and the children are back at school.

We spent almost 2 weeks under canvas in breezy North Wales, braving the tail end of Hurricane Bill and a couple of days of torrential rain. We had a wonderful time and even now have an unnatural appreciation for the things we missed - taps, a proper shower, a sofa, a fridge, a decent night's sleep.

Now it's back to work with our Autumn programme of courses and NLP Taster events leading up to Christmas.

Another week goes by.

All of a sudden, another week has shot by and at last we have weather suitable for Summer. Last week's offering would have made Noah wince.

This week, we've been busy putting plans in place for our next NLP Taster (Sunday 27th September) in the run up to our Autumn practitioner course, which starts on 12th October. Can I successfully post a second blog?

Looks like I can!

Had a busy week catching up with paperwork (after unearthing a desk from underneath the piles of post, training manuals and other detritus) and I'm now feeling focused on the job in hand. Obviously the fact that it's lashing down means I'm not distracted and longing to be outside.

NLP Liverpool begins to blog.

Welcome to our first blog post. Please be patient with me as I get to grips with the technology, the terminology and the fact that I might just be a bit old to do this properly.

We've just come to the end of a marathon 3 weeks of training. One NLP practitioner course, followed almost immediately by an NLP Master Practitioner course, which some delegates were desperate to complete before the school holidays. Probably wont put ourselves through such an intensive schedule again any time soon. I can't describe the state of my desk, although I know it IS under there somewhere, and I've reached a state of manic giddiness (which is most unattractive in a woman of my age may I say) due to over tiredness and too many evenings in the office trying to keep up.

Such are the joys of running your own business, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
