Friday already

It's been a busy week this week, lots of enquiries, even about events well into next year.

Heard some good news in the last few weeks from previous clients. Two have started new businesses after training with us, and both are doing really well.

So many people want to strike out and work for themselves but something is holding them back - it can be fear of failure or a belief that they can't succeed. We often have clients come for 1 to 1 coaching when they reach a crossroads in their career (or are approaching redundancy - which is more like a set of bollards - you can see the road carries on but you can't go down it!) After their session or NLP training course, it's great to see their confidence return and their ideas crystallise into successful businesses.

For a bit of light relief I've watched this once a day, it still makes me laugh - not for the easily offended. http://www.bbc.co.uk/filmnetwork/films/p004tdm8

Take time to laugh regularly - it does you good.

Do comment on the blog, we'd love to hear from you

Planning for 2010

As our autumn programme of training courses draws to a close and we begin to overhaul the website, it's time for us to look forward to next year. It always amazes me that as soon as the Summer is over, I'm putting together course dates for the following 18 months. We've had enquiries from as far away as Holland for our courses for next year.

A course calendar for 2010 is available for download from our website already, or click for your own copy http://www.nlpliverpool.com/Assets/NLP%20Liverpool%20Calendar%202010.pdf

We've had a busy few days in the office catching up with some of the stuff that gets put off for weeks at a time. There's always filing and accounts to keep on top of, as well as sorting the multitude of emails, some of which contain very useful information, some of which are dross! It's the sorting through which takes the time.

I've been wrestling with recalcitrant email, stubbornly refusing to download from the server and George has spent many an hour with gritted teeth atttempting to get the computer and the print server to recognise one another. You have to see the funny side, even though the print server is plugged in and shows up as connected there is a resolute refusal of the PC to "recognise" it. It's been installed, uninstalled, unplugged, coaxed, stroked and there's such great excitement when the lights flash on and off, but does it print? Er ....no, not yet. I'll keep you posted.
